It takes two to reconcile, but only one to forgive. David in Psalm 51:9 prays, "Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity." Blot out? As in erase? Leaving no record? Will God do that? YES! God is love. God’s love is kind and tender hearted and one characteristic of the God-kind of love is that He forgives and remembers your sin no more! Forgiveness frees God to forgive. Matt. 6:14-15 - "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." When our former sins come to mind, we can choose to dwell upon them (with the resulting guilty feelings), or we can choose to fill our minds with thoughts of the awesome God who forgave us and thank and praise Him for it. Philippians 4:8 (NIV) “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Do you have this God-kind of love within your soul enough to forgive and to be set free today???

Tonite, in the Gaming Zone, we are combining the classic game show pay Cards, with the fun of Texas Hold'em Poker. The first 16 cards on the deck will be used in a Pay Cards format, to choose your two starting cards. You will choose two cards, and then decide if you want to keep both of them, either of them or none of them. Each player afterwards will draw cards and decide to keep them or not. The last person still needing cards will choose the card(s) and must keep whatever they choose. Then we will start the poker part. Three cards are shown, the flop, then the players will have the option to keep playing in the game, or fold, and forfeit half the value of their hand. Then those who are left, will see the next card, and then have one final option to fold. Then the final card is drawn. The player with the best poker hand from the 7 cards (5 community cards and the two whole cards by the players) will win the hand, earn DOUBLE what their poker hand is worth, PLUS, the DIFFERENCE of all the other players who went in all the way. All those who folded before the final card is drawn, won't be part of the winner's score, but will earn half the value of the hand. Here are the payouts for the poker hands. So here it is, this is the age of the internet. We have been here for a while now, over 20 years, and we have seen some a lot from mankind life altering creation. Let me be clear: I AM A FAN OF FREE SPEECH, FREE INTERNET, I HATE SUPER RICH CORPORATIONS AND CAPITALISM, AND I USE PIRATED SOFTWARE ALL THE TIME. Thats just full disclosure, I havent paid for software in 10 years. BUT I AM ALSO AN ARTIST, I OWN AN INDIE LABEL, AND I CREATE INELUCTABLE PROPERTY THAT I INTEND ON MAKING MONEY OFF OF (a lot of it someday). So here is my conundrum, a new bill named SOPA (STOP ONLINE PIRACY ACT) and PIPA (PROTECT IP ACT). Two new bills introduced by our government to basically make people pay for music, film, video..anything that someone created intellectually and are trying to profit from it. This is the thing, ALMOST NO ONE THINKS ITS A GOOD IDEA EXCEPT THE PEOPLE WHO INTRODUCED IT. No one that is, except people like ME. Yes, me...the anti government, screw big brother, conspiracy theory following (sometimes) , reformed drug -dealing, democrat voting host of an internet radio show. WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH ME, RIGHT? Well I will tell ya. You see...Im all for free shit...EXCEPT FREE MUSIC THAT WASNT MEANT TO BE FREE! At the END OF THE DAY I have too much respect for the process of making music, what it takes creatively and financially, to say that something that will force people to pay for it is a BAD THING. The industry I am in, the MUSIC INDUSTRY, is in SHAMBLES due to PIRACY. If you cant understand that, then you will have to go toe to toe with me on this. I know this bill may be extreme, and it cane be toned down a bit for sure, but what it MAINLY wants to do is make people ante up for enjoying the art that took SEVERAL people TIME AND MONEY to make. Im not mad at that one bit.

I love the scriptures!!! Genesis 31:1-9 Jacob sees a change in Laban, his father-in-law. He knows his attitude is different toward him. He knows the Lord has blessed him through the "wages" he received from Laban even though they were changed 10 times by Laban. Will others be jealous and uncomfortable with us as we follow Christ? I would say a resounding YES. Why, because they feel it is unfair the blessings that come from Father go to anyone accept perhaps them. They are caught in the snare of comparison. Comparing who they are with who another is. This is something that simply cannot be done if one is to be a disciple of Christ in my opinion. Comparison needs to be put aside in all its forms so that the focus of what we are depends on what Christ would have us be and what Gods will is and nothing else. We cannot serve God and the world at the same time. As Christ taught we will come to love one and hate the other. We simply have to choose and if it does not come easily then we have to plead with all our might before God that he will help us overcome our weakness. So Jacob spoke to his wives about the situation. The behavior of others can often be the signal that things are about to change for us. And if we are willing the Lord will direct our paths as he did that of Jacob. This is my testimony and witness anyway. : ) Matthew 16:24-28 Some of the most profound of Christs utterings. Oh how I love his words. "let him deny himself" do we need to have a self first? One that is free of addiction and comparison attitudes that strap us to the world before we can truly "pick up the cross". Joseph Smith Translation says to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and keep the commandments. Is this easy? I think not and I think the metaphor "take up the cross" testifies that the Lord knows this. My soul delights in the scriptures. Until next time, bye for now.
